Know as the Balcón de Europa, this is a gorgeous viewpoint from where you can look out to the Mediterranean sea. Located in the seaside town of Nerja, the balcony can be found at the end of a beautiful palm tree lined promenade. It is one of the most popular photo spots in Andalucía, with the sunset offering truly magical views and ambient lighting. The pedestrian promenade was once part of a military fortress known as La Batería, and two cannons remain to remember its defensive past, alongside a statue of the late king Alfonso XII who named this balcony after the big earthquake that hit Nerja in 1884.

Since 1994, Genalguacil a pretty white washed village located in the Province of Malaga, has been the setting for a creative experience where art, life and nature come together in this incredible outdoor urban art gallery. The unique pieces dotted around the various plazas and streets in the town, are all thanks to the generosity of nearly a hundred artists such as painters, sculptors, photographers and potters, who have left their mark there. TAKE AN INTREPID WALK ALONG EL SALTILLO BRIDGE!..
In the gorge which connects the towns of Sedella and Canillas de Aceituno, is one of the three biggest hanging bridges in Spain. The 50 metre long El Saltillo bridge is suspended over the river Almanchares, offering incredible views of the surrounding natural landscape. It connects part of the Canillas de Aceituno hiking trail, a spectacular route covering areas of the natural park, ravines and rugged mountains. The best place to start your walk is at the Canillas del Aceituno town hall, where you will be able to ask about the different route options.
